It was approaching Christmas, and the medieval city of Tallinn, in the northern European country of Estonia, had been covered with snow for some time. The cobbled streets were all but deserted, and I had barely been out in days. I’d spent my time working on my second book and enjoying some solitude. On this particular night, I felt tired and decided to lay back and close my eyes. As I did, a familiar sense of heightened awareness and energy came upon me. I knew what it meant, so I attempted to relax further, at which point I felt the distinct sensation of floating upward. I looked around and saw that I was in midair at the top of the tall windows in my bedroom. Excitedly, I passed through the glass of the closest window, and moments later drifted higher into the air, over the stone turrets of Old Town, passing the dome of a large Russian orthodox church, and then across into the main square.

About the Workshop

In this workshop you will gain training from author and OBE expert Graham Nicholls who has over 24 years first hand experience of the out-of-body state and has developed unique technology and methods for inducing OBEs in those with no previous experience. The Out-of-Body Experience is one of the most profound and life-changing experiences available to us. It affords us the possibility to visit any location in the universe in an instant, to perceive through space and even time and maybe even reach other levels of realty. All of this can liberate us from the fear of bodily death and transform our understanding of the universe. In this workshop Graham Nicholls will share techniques and approaches developed and refined over the last two decades to help you have an Out-of-Body Experience (OBE) or gain more control and understanding of your experiences. You will be introduced to the scientific findings on the subject and the advanced techniques Graham Nicholls has developed from them. You will also receive an understanding of the spiritual potential of the experience, and how it can impact and enrich your everyday life for health, healing and well-being.

Workshop Breakdown

10:30 registration

The first half of the day will be focused on learning the foundation level skills needed for connecting to other levels of awareness. This will include advanced relaxation skills, mental focus, memory techniques and the knowledge needed to apply the advanced techniques you will be taught in the second half. Graham will also explain how to induce the Vibrational State, which as well as allowing out-of-body experiences, can also be directed towards healing. You will also be introduced to Graham Nicholls’ immersive technologies and approaches and shown how you can set-up a simple system at home. All this this will maximise your chances of succeeding when you return home. There will also be practical meditations and exercises during the day to communicate in the most effective way with your unconscious mind.

After lunch Session - Start 14:00 – In the evening you will be introduced to Graham Nicholls’ own G-Technique  and his advanced geometric approaches. You will also be have a one-on-one session with Graham to explore your personal needs and the best methods for you personally. You will then be introduced to the more advanced techniques, such as Graham’s unique Sphere method. There will be a practical session in which you can apply these techniques for yourself. The workshop will end with an in-depth session in pairs with Graham Nicholls instructing you in approaches to take away with you.

About the Workshop Facilitator

Graham Nicholls is the author of two books on the out-of-body experience and has over 24 years exploring the experience.  As a leading expert on the subject he has spent many years teaching and guiding people through their first OBE, or helping them understand their own perceptions and abilities.

He has lectured at venues including Cambridge University, The London College of Spirituality and the Science Museum, and has also been widely featured by the press, including the BBC, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Daily Express, and The Times, as well as many others. His article ‘Expanding Horizons: Twenty Years of Exploration into the Out-of-Body Experience’ appeared in Kindred Spirit magazine in 2009.

Goodge Street Tube Station
As you come out of the station, turn right. You will now be walking south on Tottenham Court Road. At the second cross street, when you come to the Rising Sun pub, turn left into Store Street (on the corner is the Design Centre). Walk down the street, along the parade of shops on your right. Treadwell’s is in the shop parade, at number 33, on your right.

Russell Square Tube
As you come out of the tube station, turn left. Keep going straight over Southampton Row (the big road straight ahead of you), and into Russell Square. On the far side of Russell Sqaure is Senate House, a very large 1930s building. Walk into it, through its large open lobby, and out the other side. Carry on walking straight, crossing over Malet Street, straight along Keppel Street. Cross over Gower Street, and carry on straight as the road turns into Store Street. A parade of shops is on your left. Walk along the shops, and Treadwell’s is number 33 on your left.

Transport for London’s website, with travel guide and map will direct you to Treadwell’s by bus.

Cancellation Policy
The deposit is non-refundable. If a participant cancels a workshop more than 7 days before the start date of the workshop, then the money will be refunded less any deposit. Alternatively they may transfer the amount paid to a different workshop or consultation, subject to Graham Nicholls’ written agreement and a workshop being available in your location. If a participant cancels a workshop less than 7 days before the start date of the workshop a refund cannot be given, though a transfer will be allowed if the cancelled place is filled.

A moment later she was gone, ushered away by a friend, and I was left to think about a moment that could have been so very different, and the power that a single moment can have.

It was not the first time I had come close to death. As an 18 year old I had been the passenger in a car being driven by a friend who had only just passed his driving test. We were on our way to a music festival, when we swerved down a country road and he lost control. Again, I remember that sense of time slowing down as I watched the wall approaching, the gasps from the other passengers and the numb helplessness of the situation. I remember the first impact and losing consciousness before becoming aware again with the feeling of the car almost suspended in mid air, my mind somehow preparing for the inevitable second impact as the car turned over and slid across the road. I was severely concussed, bleeding from my leg, and suffering from whiplash, when I climbed out of the mangled metal ball that used to be a car and sat by the road, dazed but alive.

The defining moment in that crash was the decision to wear my seat-belt. In those days there was no law that you had to wear one in the back of a car, but this car was brand new and had them fitted. Most people my age at that time would have felt it uncool or restrictive, yet I think even then I could look outside of that kind of thinking and consider the impact that choices can have. If I hadn’t I probably would have been thrown from the car and killed or maimed.

These were near death experiences of an earthly kind, yet I’ve always been fascinated by the life-changing power of near death journeys, the type in which someone floats free of their physical body to experience the most unimaginable light, happiness and sense of love. My own hundreds of out-of-body experiences have allowed me the privilege of exploring that state of bliss without the pain of almost dying. And like those who experience the edge of death, I have come to transform my life as a result of the perceptions I’ve experienced.

In my book, Avenues of the Human Spirit, I explore how the most seemingly unimportant moments in life can be the most important, the moment before I was saved by a passing stranger, or my foresight to wear a seatbelt, seemed meaningless, yet looking back I am only able to write these words because of them – that is how significant a tiny choice can be.

Take the woman who saved my life, consider the choice she made, the fact that she acted when many wouldn’t have. I’ve often asked myself since that day, what would I have done? If you ask yourself the same question, can you be sure you would act as she did, can you make the choice to step away from the crowd?

There are moments in everyday life in which we know this is it. We make a decision now or the direction of our lives, or the lives of another, could be very very different. Having some sense of those moments ahead of time, looking at what drives us, empowers us. A decision, a moment, or a change, will send us in new directions, lead us to discover things we could not have imagined. My decision as a young boy living on an impoverished housing estate to explore my inner spirit, was what led to that boy with no education or prospects to essentially have freedom and fulfilment as an adult.

My book is the true story of my spiritual and metaphysical experiences, but it is also a guide to spiritual fulfilment, a guide to having the strength to act, to seeing the door opening toward change and having the courage to walk through it…
