Recently, I have been looking at the OBE reports at OBERF site. When asked about how OBEs and NDEs relate, Graham said that there was no going through a tunnel to loved ones in the OBE as is the case in NDEs~~ however, I have read several OBE accounts where people have met loved relatives where they met with love. One very interesting acoount was a woman who flew through the dark and was met by a male being with long hair who had light aura, and she met with unconditional love whereupon he embraced her. She emphasized that this loving embrace was beyond any words, and was deeper than her sexual relationship–she said it was a spiritual orgasm. As a resuklt she said he sexual life suffered somewhat, because of comparing it with this intimacy.
Thanks for your comment, I must say that I was referring to my own experience when I said the comment about loved ones, it was after I’d said I do have a lot of common ground with NDEs in some instances. Tunnels in OBEs do happen, I have experienced them myself, as well as seeing those who appear to have passed away. The point is that they are not ‘key’ features of the OBE state, as opposed to the NDE state – I hope that clarifies.
